The Almost Fear Inside Our Bones Mp3 Download
The third long-player from the Clearwater, Florida-based faith-based rockers fronted by Underoath drummer and vocalist Aaron Gillespie, arrives four years after 2009's well-received, which peaked at the number five spot on the Christian rock charts (it hit number 67 on the Billboard 200) on the strength of the single 'No I Don't.' Recorded live in the studio in four feverish days, the 11-track retains the spirit, passion, and edgy charisma of its predecessor, while introducing a more refined, classic rock-influenced element to the band’s already meaty and anthemic sound.

The AlmostFear Inside Our Bones(Tooth & Nail)The Almost is a band that has been a break out band from the beginning. They have written two different albums together. Southern Weather was an upbeat pop punk album that everyone quickly fell in love with. Monster Monster kept true to the pop punk, but added an indie rock feel.
Fear Inside Our Bones is just as different as its predecessors without sacrificing one bit on their Christian message.Fear Inside Our Bones starts with a song called “Ghost.” This song might have the listener double checking which band they just turned on, at least for the first minute. “Ghost” and much of the rest of the album have a southern rock feel. This album starts out sounding the way it would be expected of The Almost.
I think that the album’s title track represents the album well. The song fits in with the southern rock and pop punk style of the whole album.
The next few songs including the single “I’m Down” keep you entertained with the bands new southern rock (and in some parts alt/country)sound. The midpoint of the album slows down for a song called “The Florida Sun.” This song is a slow and heartfelt song about Florida. Lyrically, the song gives you a chance to look through Aaron Gillespie’s eyes, reflect on his career, and feel his need of “The Florida Sun.” The album doesn’t take a break from rocking out for more than one song. The remainder of this album keeps the same southern rock sound with a Switchfoot likeness. The last song on the album is a cover of Andrew Gold’s “Lonely Boy.” Gillespie keeps Gold’s song fun and even changes the dates to keep it modern.Overall, I’m pleased with this album.
Even though The Almost doesn’t sound the same as what I’ve enjoyed in the past, Fear Inside Our Bones is a good and successful album. The Almost separated themselves from the pack when they recorded this album. Not only did the band record live, they recorded as a full band.
I think that makes this album arguably the most unique album this year. When playing Fear Inside Our Bones I felt like I was getting The Almost live wherever I was. That’s not something anyone could pass on easily.
